Family with kids will love it
The staff were so cute and helpful. One concierge named Simbonge was a real star! We all enjoyed our breakfast and dinner together.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but still acceptable.

A view like no other
Woke up to stunning views of Table Mountain every morning. The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home throughout our stay.
However, we faced issues with slow WiFi, which made it difficult to check in with relatives. The fitness area felt too small for a hotel of this caliber.

Great views from the room and a cool location near attractions. Shower in the tub uncomfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast options, though some items could be better. Bike tours in the area added fun to the stay.

Fantastic Stay with a Great Location and Delicious Breakfast!
I had a memorable experience! The location was perfect for exploring, just a short walk to car rentals. Breakfast offered an incredible variety—custom omelets, fresh pastries, and amazing juices. For future guests, don’t miss a visit to the V&A Waterfront. the free shuttle makes it so easy!

This place was a perfect match for a fleeting moment in Cape Town with great value. The food was very tasteful and the breakfast buffet had plenty of options. Just be ready for some crowded breakfast times.

I had a six-night stay at the Southern Sun, and the mountain view from my room was incredible. The spacious double room made me feel at home. Breakfast each morning offered a stellar variety. everything tasted fresh and delicious. Staff members were always friendly and quick to help. I never had to wait long for an elevator, which was great. The location is central, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions. On the downside, I found the coffee station lacking. The coffee didn’t hit the spot, and those tiny milk pyramids weren’t enough for my coffee cravings. I also noticed the buffet dinner had a limited selection, and the meat was dry. Overall, a pleasant stay with some room for improvement in dining quality.

The location was fantastic, close to many attractions and easily accessible. Breakfast had a great selection, and the staff was incredibly helpful, especially with the kids. However, the room could have been cleaner as there was some dust noticeable in places. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, even if there’s room for improvement in cleanliness.

The vibe there is electrifying, and the pies? Absolute game-changers! Breakfast at the hotel was top-notch, too, with the staff ready to roll out the red carpet. Can't forget the killer views of the cityscape and Table Mountain—like a postcard right from your room!
Now, about that coffee station—it's decent but not a showstopper. A tad better coffee would be a nice touch, and those tiny milk pyramids? Just not cutting it for a proper cuppa.
